Marco's on the road again (soon)

 

OK let's try this out.
Hi everybody. I'm now heading off, away from
Vancouver and into the great wide world again. I'm
planning to hitch hike outta here on Saturday towards
Halifax, Nova Scotia. It may take a good month or so
to get there, particularly since I'm staying with
friends along the way. From Halifax I'll hopefully
find a cheap way to get across to Europe, where I hope
to find work.

These last few days I've been trying to pack all
my stuff away. Stuff can be a real pain (and staying
up til 4 AM to watch soccer games didn't really help
either). But it's very exciting to be on the road
again. Every time I start out on another trip like
this, I think of Bilbo Baggins heading out towards
the mountains, saying, "I've put this off for far too
long." That's how I feel about it.

So anyway, this is just a short eMail to warn
you that the travelogues will start up again. I have
a new eMail address, as you can see, and have
discovered that there are many entries in my address
book that I don't even remember when I last
communicated with that person. If you'd rather not
hear from me, or if you'd rather have me write to a
different address, or in a different language, or
whatever, please let me know.

Two more days til I'm hitchin' rides on the
side of the road!
